Employee Network Groups (ENGs)

Employee Network Groups (ENGs) enhance the experience and climate for individuals from systemically underrepresented groups. All employees are encouraged to join an ENG, regardless of their social identities. Members assist in fostering a healthy and inclusive climate, leverage diverse perspectives to inspire new ideas, and work with executive sponsors to lead to better outcomes for our workforce.

Why do we have ENGs at CREC?

  • To help create a sense of belonging for all employees.
  • To support a healthy and inclusive work environment.
  • To provide a collective voice around shared issues or concerns.
  • To promote internal diversity initiatives.

What do ENGs focus on?

  • Assisting to foster a healthy and inclusive climate.
  • Leveraging diverse perspectives to encourage new ideas and innovation, and lead to better outcomes for stakeholders (students, families, and staff.)
  • Hosting and promoting Professional Development
