Math Workshop Model

The Math Workshop model focuses on cultivating and developing all learners’ understanding by creating and facilitating learning experiences that invite students to construct and negotiate deep conceptual understanding, as well as develop fluency with numbers. Participants will gain a greater understanding of focus, coherence, and rigor and how to structure lessons, set up classrooms, and establish routines. Workshops include constructing mini lessons and guided math instruction; establishing centers, rotations, and stations; and sharing work.
