Teacher evaluation refers to the formal process a school uses to review and rate teachers' performance and effectiveness in the classroom. An effective teacher evaluation system is critical to improving teacher quality. CREC offers products and services that can help administrators recognize great teachers so we can learn from and replicate their success as well as teachers who may need extra training to reach their full potential.

Increasing Educator Diversity

Increasing Educator Diversity is a collaboration between the CREC Resource Group and Connecticut school districts, who know it is integral to increase the numbers of African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, and Asian American teachers and administrators in the state's public schools. Expert Solutions services include, but are not limited to, assisting schools in attracting, recruiting, hiring, and retain a diverse teaching and administrative personnel that more closely represents the student population's diversity.

CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Half Day Program

Provides high school students from the Capitol Region and beyond with rigorous training in the arts. Students choose a major from six different arts disciplines: Dance, Music (instrumental or vocal), Musical Theater, Theater, Design & Theatre Production, and Visual Arts. All classes are taught by professional Artist-Instructors.
