Medical Office Assistant

This 15-week course runs in partnership with CT State Manchester Community College and helps adult learners obtain their medical office assistant certification while providing an opportunity to receive six college credits along with ELL classes designed to improve reading, writing, listening, and oral communication skills. The training consists of four college-level courses including communications, keyboarding skills, medical billing/records, and medical office terminology. There is also internship or job placement support available to students upon successful completion of the program.

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must be bilingual and/or English as a Second Language Learner
• Have a High School Diploma, GED, or college transcript
• Be Eligible to Work in USA (Social Security card)

Schedule:

• The program runs 4 days a week for 15 weeks
• Schedule TBD closer to Spring 2025

Central Sterile Processing Technician

This 12-week course runs in partnership with CT State Manchester Community College and helps adult learners obtain their Central Sterile Processing Technician certification while providing an opportunity to take the state licensure exam. Students will gain the knowledge and skills related to infection prevention, inspection and sterilization of surgical devices, and identification of basic surgical instruments along with ELL classes designed to improve reading, writing, listening, and oral communication skills.There is also internship or job placement support available to students upon successful completion of the program.

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must be bilingual and/or English as a Second Language Learner
• Have a High School Diploma, GED, or college transcript
• Be Eligible to Work in USA (Social Security card)

Schedule:

• The program runs 3 days a week for 12 weeks
• Schedule TBD closer to Winter 2025
