About your Instructor

Ratosha McBride Headshot

Ratosha McBride is an experienced education technology specialist, course designer, and eLearning application administrator, who readily bridges technical and educational domains to support school and district goals for increasing student engagement and achievement.

She is a champion of finding new technologies and developing innovative methods to connect an understanding of using software and other instructional resources and effectively infusing their use into the classroom.

Her passion and professional mission are to provide high-level instruction and foster profound change in the classroom for both students and educators alike. To assist with this, she developed a process known as, Curriculum Unit Revision Infusing Technology (CURIT). The CURIT process dramatically increases the overall capacity for teaching and learning with technology to prepare educators with the skills and resources to support and prepare their students for future success. CURIT fosters peer-to-peer collaboration, builds confidence in educators, sets reliable expectations, and systematically designs and upgrades processes to produce technology-infused learning experiences.

Curriculum Unit Revision Infusing Technology

The CREC Resource Group uses the Curriculum Unit Revision Infusing. Technology (CURIT) model. The CURIT model provides a process revising existing curricula to incorporate technology while aligning to standards and allowing for differentiation. The process is focused on producing classroom-ready units and lessons.
