Professional Development Services

Our professional development services are designed to increase district capacity and to increase best practices in deaf education within districts.

Coaching Services

Our coaching services are designed to support district-hired teachers of the deaf and SLP working with students with hearing loss to increase best practices, provide materials, to support professional growth to foster best educational outcomes for student:

  • Provide professional mentoring to teachers of the deaf new to the field.
  • Provide modeling and support in different deaf education modalities for teachers of the deaf.
  • Assist SLPs working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students in strategies to increase audition, speech, and language.
  • Work with School Counselors, Social Workers, and School Psychologists on transition goals specific to students with hearing loss.
  • Provide input to school personnel regarding social and emotional learning of students with hearing loss.
