Capitol Region Interdistrict Leadership Academy
CRILA is a grant-operated summer and school-year program for high school juniors and seniors. CRILA's mission is to provide a diverse forum whereby students practice ethical and collaborative leadership through travel, research, and community service.
Grant Writing, Research, and Funding Procurement
Offering school districts and nonprofit organizations a variety of grant writing and research services, including: evaluating federal, state, and privately funded grants; fundraising assessment; and grant administration.
Developed in collaboration with Hartford Stage and Leadership Greater Hartford, students will create and perform a devised piece of theatre under the guidance of artists-in-residence from Hartford Stage.
Center for Creative Youth
A four-week summer residency in the arts for talented high school students. This program increases artistic and academic skills in an advanced and intensive arts curriculum, and reduces racial isolation as diverse students live and work together.
The longer a project waits to be closed-out, the harder it becomes. Through custom documentation procedures and experienced staff, these services aim to ensure the timely recovery of all taxpayer dollars in the closeout and project audit of school construction projects.
This three-year program partners urban and suburban schools in grades 4, 5, and 6 to enhance student diversity, raise student awareness of diversity issues, and to increase student motivation and skills through the use of new and prior knowledge.
Budgeting and Forecasting Services
Experienced budgeting and cash flow forecasting services rooted deeply in past school construction experience to ensure successful projects are completed under budget and all taxpayer funds are properly accounted for.
Construction Development and Planning Services
Supporting districts through facility assessments and creation of prioritized capital improvement and construction plans tailored to fit every need. Foresight and planning of capital projects can fix expensive problems before they arise.
A leadership development institute for high school students that help them understand and appreciate the rich diversity in our communities, identify issues of bias and intolerance, and develop leadership skills that will enable them to create positive change.
