Gerald Hairston, Ed.D
Minority Teacher Recruiting Coordinator
March 28th; 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join us for the 28th Annual CREC Minority Teacher Recruitment Career Fair.
The Minority Recruiting Program is committed to building a supportive community whereby teachers and administrators of color are actively recruited to participate in various activities that local school districts also participate in and to support them in pursuing professional career positions.
The MTR Consortium maintains a database of teacher and administrator of color candidates as a service to our member districts who are focused on diversifying their pool of certified education professionals. Aspirant educators provide a "common" application and participating districts receive access to each candidate’s complete file.
Candidate’s files include:
- a copy of each of your teaching certificate(s);
- three letters of reference;
- transcripts (student copy); and
- other supportive information to complete your application.
Once the completed application packet has been received, participating districts that have open positions can view completed application and supporting documents.
