Supporting Positive School Climate
Experts assess school climate, develop programs and services aligned with the SRBI framework, and provide professional learning opportunities on important subjects such as bullying, PBIS, restraint, rules and routines, and discipline.

In collaboration with the John J. Allison Jr. Polaris Center, the CREC Detention Centers Education Program provides educational services to the children placed in Hartford Juvenile Detention Centers (JDC).

Lincoln Academy is designed to address the needs of students in grades 6-12 who have demonstrated an episode(s) of extremely poor judgment, or who struggle with social, familial, or intrapersonal difficulties that impact their ability to succeed in a public school setting.
Polaris Clinical Day School
The Clinical Day School offers a solid foundation for the learning and support that teenagers in grades 6-12 with learning disabilities and/or significant social, emotional, mental health, and/or behavioral challenges deserve and require.
These professional development opportunities align with the CT School Leader Standards and focus on how leaders use critical reflection and analysis to create learning communities that embrace equitable opportunities and successful outcomes for all students.
John J. Allison, Jr. Polaris Center
CREC's John J. Allison, Jr. Polaris Center offers specialized clinically-based educational academies and programs for adolescents, summer programs, an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for young children through adults, an outdoor Adventure Therapy Program, and catering.
Connections offers students in grades 9-12 extra structure, support, and creative incentives to stay engaged in the learning environment and to promote positive goals for the future. Significant focus is placed on vocational training and experience.
