Homebound Instruction for Students with Low-Incidence Disabilities
Homebound instruction in a hospital or home setting within the CREC region for students, 3 to 21 years of age, who have multiple disabilities and/or medical needs.
Supports for Pregnant and Parenting Teens (SPPT)
A grant program serving students in six Connecticut school districts. This project provides school-based support for teens in grades 9 through 12 that focuses on improving the health, education, and social outcomes for pregnant and parenting students and their children.

Neurobehavioral consultation services provided by medical consultants to the River Street School.
Mental Health Support and Services
Professional development training opportunities and school-specific technical assistance to help school leaders, faculty, and staff in understanding how to increase safety while enhancing social/emotional and academic achievement for all students.
Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for Children & Families
Polaris Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for Children and Families provides high-quality mental health services to children, adults, and families in the community. Individual, family, couples, and group therapy including psychiatric consultation and medication management.
Strategies to Improve Executive Functioning
CREC's work with C8 Sciences of New Haven resulted in new strategies and techniques to support students struggling with attention deficit. The partnership allows districts access to this tool with training through CREC.
River Street Extended Day/Year Programs
Extended year (up to 240 days) and extended day (as late as 7:00 pm daily) programs available for students needing additional support and instruction.
Yoga 4 Classrooms is a low-cost, simple, and professional development program which addresses children's physical and psychological well-being through yoga and mindfulness techniques used throughout the day to relieve stress, calm bodies, and increase student focus.
River Street Clinical Services
Multi-disciplinary clinical support for all students attending River Street School.
River Street Outreach Program
Board certified behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts from the River Street Outreach Program provide behavioral consultation services to support area school districts in their services of children with challenging behaviors.
CREC's River Street School has taught kids on the autism spectrum for over fifty years.
River Street Autism Program - Birken Campus
Intensive Applied Behavior Analysis instruction for students with autism is available year-round.
