Community Based Group Homes

CREC River Street School manages two group homes located in nearby communities. In operation since 1988, the Community Based Group Home Program has positively influenced the lives of dozens of students. The unique program meets the special needs of select students who require instruction in a residential setting, as well as in school, to achieve success.

Residential programming is provided 365 days a year, and students are enrolled at CREC River Street School in an 8.5-hour day for 210 days a year. Service is carefully coordinated between these two programs to achieve the maximum possible growth for each student.
