About Using Data in a Changing Landscape
The educational landscape in Connecticut is changing rapidly with respect to assessment, accountability, and performance evaluation. Connecticut school leaders need to understand how data on student performance are used in the context of educator evaluation, school accountability, and data-driven improvement initiatives. This training will explore how the practice of data teams and data-driven decision making and the setting of SMART goals for student performance intersects with the requirements of both the new teacher evaluation model and the new state accountability system.
